Dear Visitors,
Welcome to the museum’s website of National Institute of Natural Science (NINS), Nepal’s pioneer of taxidermy. We have many collections of wild birds, animals, and wild plants for the educational, research and recreational purposes. From the experience of past decades, we have learned that the museum will focus on conservation of various wild birds, animals, and wild plants for the purpose of different activities which would be resourceful to National and International universities as well as general public. As a president, I make any effort to continue the research we have been continuing. This includes taxidermy, zoology, botany, climate change, bio-diversity etc. By exploring these natural resources to the public we further aim of our exhibitions which is to improve people’s involvement in nature and science. We would appreciate your continued and hearty support, as we promise to further enhance the role of the museum. For the role of organizing and expanding activities of the museum, your participation, involvement, support and suggestion are highly appreciated. I invite you to experience our shared history collection of birds and animals at the National Institute of Natural Sciences: walk through our doors, visit and explore our website, upload photos to our Flickr site, follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, and let us know what you think.
